  5. I am a landlord, and I want to explain why evictions have to happen–while a renter can stop paying rent anytime, the mortgage, property tax and insurance bills still run. The point of eviction is not to get rid of the tenants per se. It is to hope that a new paying renter can be found so that property tax/mortgage/insurance can be paid. Even if a performing renter cannot be found, an empty home minimizes the chance and necessity of repairs. Note that landlords still have to make most repairs even if the tenant is not paying. However, landlords can delay repairs if the house is empty. Remember–your landlord doesn't have a tree that grows money. Everyone is short of cash at this point.

Well that’s a problem if they have a mortgage on the house or apartment they have to charge rent doubled or triple so the land lord can pay the mortgage and taxes and insurance well when you buy a house you have to pay the mortgage taxes and insurance??????? I don’t want nobody to buy a place for me to live, I can buy my own place to live and try to pay it off as fast as I can and live rent and mortgage freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee any question

    Sadly, just when I want to congratulate Pres. Trump and FL Governor De Santis and thank them for restoring "lawful conditions", I hear the workhorse Donald Trump was diagnosed with COVID. I am shocked and sorry. After Ronald Reagan was shot he asked the medical staff: "Are you Republican or Democrat?". Trump should be very careful and do the same. To the point: I wanted to thank Gov. De Santis for lifting the COVID Eviction ban, immediately after receiving a phone text message. But the text is somewhat ambiguous. He now delegates the responsibility to the CDC's order, not to his own executive order. WHY? Because he is kind of "obligated" to wait for election results in November. So he blames CDC (Center for Disease Control), but had no problem to liberate restaurants last week effective immediately form social "distancing". Guests in restaurants still have to pay their bill and can't leave because they lost a job due to COVID. The message now shows there is no real connection to COVID, it's an election trick. Anyway, my promise was: If this ban is lifted "before the election" I will vote for Trump – otherwise … and you can fill in here. I still feel we owe this man our gratitude and should elect him for a second term. Letting anarchists and communists take over would be a big mistake. I also feel nothing will interfere with his re-election, other than organized election fraud. We will see soon. Choose wisely fellow Americans! No matter what you do – the chaos will continue!

  18. I maintain apartment buildings for a living. Its hard to do the things that need to be done when renters cant pay and deliverys for parts are delayed or never come. Also more homeless in area means more vandalism, break ins and drug use.

  22. Im being evicted over 50 dollars my russian landlords told me friday at noon they will put all of my stuff in the street. Im scared and all by myself. I always pay the rent with pay pal and for the past 3 days they have shown up at my house demanding the money and yesterday they made me show them my pay pal balance which was 6 dollars and they wanted it. Their hostility towards me is so scary i cant even sleep im about to have a nervous breakdown all because of this covid-19 pandemic. I never thought this would happen

  24. You people are going to think that a Joe Biden Presidency or a continuation of Trump will "Make America Great Again?" Think about it since the Two Party System Ruined the U.S and kept it divided after George Washington left Office. If we had a Multi-Party System with Rank Choice Voting then we'd see better handling of things like Covid-19 and future Viruses and or future Economic problems.

  30. This only hurts old people and working people. It not hurting the Spanish and Mexican people. All these landlord's buy up houses to get rich at all cost. They did not think something like could happen. O I just keep buying up houses and Apartments because people all ways need a place to live and I can get rich and live like a qreen or king and keep putting the rent higher and higher. Hell if white or black people cannot pay the subwhite Spanish and Mexican will because they have the jobs and money they are hurting. Just look at them buying up high price new Trucks and cars. We know we can rent to them and not warry. So put Americans on the street.( What I just said is not racist but fact)🤮
