I know this is very sad and in situations like these, there’s just not much else we can do and need something to make us feel better, but no amount of standing in a circle holding hands and praying to is going to change anything. Even if there was definite proof they were praying to a magic man in the sky, the damage is done. Sadly.

  35. the tornado in Alabama is tragic, But people make me fucking sick because they were mocking Alabama saying they deserved it,that God's punishing them because they voted trump. Yall need to get you head out of your fucking ass and put aside your damn political agendas and help each other because we are humans and are only here for a short time.

  37. The tornadoes happened Monday. On Sunday; one day before there were a bunch of people praying in Alabama, all over the state churches full of people. Only prayers after the disasters count or something?. And……………..God makes those tornadoes, so………………………… Please stop believing in invisible superheroes and expecting them to help. Start listening to scientists who are offering ways to prevent the deaths of all of these people by creating better shelters and warning systems. I feel sorry for everyone affected, but prayer is not going to fix anything, action by US will. I know this is a dickhead comment after this tragedy………..but it is reality, and the sooner people realize that the faster we can start actually helping people in tornado affected areas.

  38. To all of you "sending prayers", how about sending food or money toe help these people. Prayers and thoughts are worthless. God does not exist, even if he did, it's obvious that he wouldn't do shit to help anyone. Get off your knees and do something to make the world a better place. All that sending "thoughts and prayers" does is alleviate your own downtrodden feelings.
