Corporations are spending like crazy now to stimulate the economy before the midterms. If the Dems get in, they might undo some of the tax cuts given to the rich via corporations. We will have to see what happens after the midterms. Also, the economy is booming only because Trump passed the buck. Yes, tax cuts, but by borrowing to increase the deficit and the debt (a lot). We will only know how well the economy is when we balance the budget and start to pay down the debt. Remember there were these companies that everyone thought was doing so well. They had lots of private jets and villas all over the world. Only to find out later that the thriving company was entirely based on borrowed money and ultimately it went under.
