I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. Underwhelmed.
I am not an art expert but I personally don't like it and don't think it does Princess Diana justice. PH seems to me to be too chipper–seems to be trying too hard to be cheery. He also to me looks dissheveled. PW looks very much a future king and carries himself with class and dignity as always.

The problem that modern sculptors keep finding out – bronze statues are hideous. There is absolutely NO WAY to make a bronze or metal statue look lovely. Diana was fair, blond, and gorgeous – like an ancient Greek goddess. Her statue should have been made of marble, like the loveliest statues – Venus De Milo comes to mind – and her lovely and classic features would live forever. Of course, that would require a Michelangelo to sculpt, by hand – but oh, it would have been worthy of our modern goddess. Take this down and start over! Put her in her glam, such as she was on her final birthday, hugging a child.
