Some kids are in summer, so parents can work and the kids will get a chance to eat.
My other comment they erased was about our low teacher pay and they can’t find staff!
Ah yet another example of how idiotic the lockdowns were.
They can’t get anyone to work our summer school program. 25$ an hour- no thanks! My 2 masters degrees and this awful year deserve much more incentive. Some states are paying extra to get workers for summer.
I blame technology and social media. Kids can't pay attention.

My kids actually thrived learning from home. To the point that we’re actually homeschooling this year and going forward.
