Hmm the number of slaves is off in this clip. There were only 30,000 slaves. Not all states had slaves and America only had 13 colonies. It was tiny at the time. And the general population was tiny as well.

Oregon opened June 30 (despite having some of the lowest infection, hospitalization and death rates in the country) but still cancelled nearly all firework shows and banned all private use of fireworks due to fire danger. Last year's 4th was better
