I remember when he interviewed Dave Chappelle, he was a great interviewer
I can relate to Mr. Lipton and thus the reason i enjoyed watching his shows. He was blessed to live as long as he had, and i will miss hearing and seeing him. Peace.

Haven't seen the show in years, but I always enjoyed each episode. One of my favorite questions he would ask was "what's your favorite swear word?" Very enlightening. 😲😋

How long was Inside the Actor's Studio actually on?
Awe man I just watched an old In The Year 2000 with him on Conan. He ran a great show. One of my all time top favorite shows.
In years past, often watched his program when it aired on WTTW. He was quite smooth and reserved. I remember the blue cards with his notes to do Q&A. His technique to get a reaction from the actors during his sessions was quite nuanced and incredibly entertaining. God Bless Mr. Lipton as he has moved on to still conduct interviews for eternity.
