Robert is still my favorite actor, "Cold Blood" & " Electra Glide In Blue" being my two movies I could watch anytime without getting bored but it was " Baretta" as a kid that got me , he was the " Cool" Cop that I wished I had in my neighborhood,him and Steve McQueen will always be Hollywood`s Kings of cool in my book, I don't think he had anything to do with his wife's murder and hope he gets one more chance to make a movie before he's not on this earth.
Loved both Baretta and Kojak! Cool "boys" both of them! I wonder if they ever met and what they thought of each other .. Anyway loved them both… Edit: Loved the charactar Baretta .. and with Kojak both the charactar and the real man.

Whatever else you may want to say about him: he is a fighter, one tough dude and a survivor. he made it past 85, … and beat all the odds.
and yes: he had a self-destructive edge most all of his life.
I hope that some day I could meet him before I or he leaves this earth.
He has given us the best that he could possibly give as far as a performance goes.
However I still say that this Man has still even a higher level of acting yet to be seen.
