  1. How did she even deserve fourth place? She should have been suspended and sent home. Woman’s figure skating is so rigged and the Russians seem to be able to do anything they want and get away with it……even a failed drug test isn’t enough to disqualify a Russian from the Olympics . I’m done watching these rigged events. That girl should never been permitted to skate the long program. She’s a cheater…..and so is her coach.

  6. The title should not be really "RUSSIAN" but generally, Figure Skater etc. This is just continuous push to make RUSSIA always the worst country in the world. Lance Armstrong destroyed whole generation of cyclist. Did you forgot about Marion Jones? Tyson Gay? And whole NFL is not even part of WADA, why? Doping is matter of person not coutry.

  8. The thing is, Kamila’s fall was faked. It was all planned, as well as Tuberitze’s fake anger towards her.

    There is no way that a talented skater like Kamila, who has been performing perfectly all season, had that many falls, under whatever circumstances. She was sacrificed so that Russia can get a gold medal on spot, whatever the ramification of the doping scandal will become.

    Sasha’s outbreak and crying at Tuberitze “you knew it all” tells it. If you don’t like your score, you argue with the judge, not your coach. She was mad at Tuberitze for planning this behind her back and she was basically “arranged” a silver medal.

    Also it is observed that in the free program Valieva didn’t jump high enough for her quads, as if she feared that it could be too good.

She didn't decide on this regimen for herself, and the 'accidental' story about her grandfather's meds is ridiculously bogus – that is, unless he is actually the one responsible. In any case, she should never been allowed to compete. Too bad she would pay the biggest price, but the people behind her must not be allowed success based on some misguided media and judicial sympathy for this girl.

  10. All her tests before and after are absolutely clean, including at the Olympics. It remains a mystery why the sample passed in December and which should come in a maximum of 20 days came only after the victory of the Russian team, and not before the Olympics, for example.   14. I’m sorry for everyone who disagrees with me but this is just my perspective on this whole thing..

    They should disqualify russians from competing ever… it’s not fair. they failed the doping test multiple times… before watching her final game today, I was thinking… she might try to score in the 4th place to let the other two russian figure skaters who were alredy in the first and second place, let them have their medal ceremony. If she scored first, they wouldnt have their ceremony so maybe she tried that. I mean I don’t even know what to believe with them anymore. When I was watching the other russian skaters today, the first thing that came into my mind was.. they are all drugged… they all passed and valieva didn’t… this is obnoxious and is child abuse. The coaches have not done their job. They are pressuring these young children. It’s getting painful to watch Russian skaters on ice tainting winter sports. I just don’t understand how they thought they could get away with taking drugs… she will now forever have the title “Russian doping scandal figure skater” tailing after her name for the rest of her life. Something needs to be done.

  15. Why couldn't Tara and her goons just let the kid skate. The decision was made to let her skate and all I can hear on NBC is Tara just blah blah blah blah She's just a 15 year old kid. Personally I think she should never have been allowed but there was some unusual circumstances and the powers that be gave her the green light. So share your opinion then move on. Like a dog with a bone. Why do individuals always hate it when someone is successful. Pretty sad

  19. Russian players are victims? Do you think only Valieva among Russian players was doped? The Russian state and coaches must have been systematically doping young Russian players for a long time. Suppose Trusova or Valieva wins gold and Valieva passes the doping test. Russian players must have enjoyed all kinds of wealth and popularity behind lies. Are they victims? Other athletes who have been practicing since childhood, enduring hard training without doping, are the real victims.
