Am I wrong in thinking that Russia is considered a hostile nation to U.S. interests, and being that, anytime there are Russians connected to their government hovering around a leading candidate for the presidency, alarms go off in various intelligence agencies automatically? I think it's in their bylaws to investigate potential foreign (hostile) influences in our election process. As such, it wouldn't surprise me in the least that this went on automatically – and not at the behest of any one person or party affiliation.

Some of these comments are/could be part of Russian initiatives to destabilize governments through social discord and whether we accept it or not pose to increase the negative impact this can have to our democratic systems and our society. Concurrently conflict, disagreements, and polarizing social principles creates a vehicle for interference and manipulation by any organized body, regardless if internal or external.     DNC had to pay Glenn Simpson who paid Chris Steele to fake a report to get Trump involved in the Russian investigation, to get Trump to try to criminally obstruct justice. Doing that is Legally ENTRAPMENT.

Lacking evidence to find Trump colluded, the Dems then tried to accomplish the coup saying Trump obstructed because he was quite vocally opposed to the coup.
