Russia seems to have forgotten two fundamental facts about the Ukraine War-
1: If you attack, the other side gets to attack you back.
2: If you choose to invade through Chernobyl, expect to be irradiated.
It would be a delicious twist of irony if, at the end of this conflict, Ukraine ended up being larger than when they started- and who could blame them!!!
Putin has been obsessed with Ukraine for decades. His life's goal is to bring Ukraine back into Russia by all means available, even gassing and or nuking the Ukrainians into submission.

There is a dire need of actual power projection in Ukraine. Send them already fuel, long range sams, c-ram, iron dome, bring in anything. Airdrop food and supplies. Make some air bridge to Mariupol like in cold war Berlin, for God's sake, Macron, Scholz, Johnson grow a pair already and stop crawling in front of Putler. It is now known that Putin formed a plan to deport Ukrainians to Siberia and bring in loyal Russians to settle in Ukrainian territory as „new citizens“. That is Stalin at work again, just like he did with Crimean Tatars.
Add to this that Putler will threat with nuclear weapons soon as Pentagon said, then why are we still so afraid how Putin understands something we eventually do, how he interprets our steps so that we don't accidentally offend him? To the hell with Putin's opinions.

Russia was giving many free things to Ukraine for many years. Instead of give these money to retired people we paid for Ukrainian to support them. Even Ukrainian were stealing many years later gas from Russia. We forgave them. And what Ukrainian did? They got paid for maidan and “decided” to be under US. ( again US did the his game) . And they allowed to build bio labs to use it against Russia. They allowed NATO in the board of Russia and it was very dangerous. They betrayed Russia so easy. Most probably, the Russians themselves blown up their oil depot in Belgorod, Russia under the false flag to stage the threat from Ukraine, then introduce martial law on its territories nearby Ukraine and start total mobilisation of men into armed forces. This is oil rich country, it is not a big deal for them to lose just one oil depot.
It is high time to end the special operation and declare war.

This is a war. What do they expect LMAO ?
How much money does it take to bribe the Russian soldiers to surrender, defect, give Russian weapons to Ukraine and either join the Ukranian army or leave the battlefield?
If you try to kill the Russian soldiers, they will try defend themselves since their own lives is at stake.
But if you give them money and an opportunity to leave the battlefield, they can survive somewhere and return to Russia when all this is over, without getting killed and without killing anyone. It is a win-win situation.
The United States alone has already given Ukraine more than a billion dollars to fight the war. All that money is more than enough to BRIBE the entire Russian army and convince them to surrender their weapons to the Ukrainian military.
The only thing preventing Russian soldiers to defect is the punishment from the other Russian soldiers. But if the entire Russian army defects, there is no one left to punish the defectors.
And you only need to convince the soldiers to defect. High-ranking officers like generals are the minority inside an army. The soldiers constitute the vast majority of an army. It is much easier to convince soldiers to defect since they receive a very low salary. If enough Russian soldiers defect, the war is OVER! There is no way to wage a war without soldiers.
Most Russians soldiers don't want to fight this war. They would be more than willing to accept bribes. They fight simply because they have no other option. They cannot disobey orders because they would be punished, even killed by their superiors. They cannot desert because they would die of hunger and cold. If the Ukrainian army attacks them, they will simply defend themselves and attack back.
We have to give the Russian soldiers a WAY OUT. Convince them to surrender their weapons to the Ukrainian army. In exchange Ukraine should give them some money, protection, and a way out of the battlefield.
The Russian soldiers can then hide in Poland or elsewhere until the war is over. When the war is over they can safely return to Russia. They cannot return right now because the Russian government would simply send them back to the battlefield.
