Is covid 19 much worse in colder climates? It doesn't seem that bad in Africa ect. I know it's bad in California and that's hot. Here in Scotland our R number is below 1, Scotland has seemed to cope much better than the rest of the UK. I have noticed that just about everyone uses face masks on public transport and indoors when shopping ect, shops and business are mostly limited to a certain amount of people with staff working in the entrance to control the amount of people, I also noticed when standing in queues there are gaps between people who are not together and all shops and business have plastic or glass at the tills or at counters to separate customers from customers and customers from staff.
It was not always like this as in the beginning just about nobody used a face mask or even practiced social separation, now it's much better and even tho you do see the odd slip up here or there is say Scotland is mostly adhering to social separation and respecting others people personal space.
