Background checks (a current law) will do nothing to stop criminals or unstable people from buying guns, criminals don't obey the laws, ERPOs (search and seizure without due process) are BLATANTLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Changing the filibuster or removing it (which was LOVED by the Democrats against Trump) will hasten one party rule and empower politicians towards a totalitarian regiem.We've already seen how circumventing election laws have elected a senile puppet as president who is lead by a small group of extreme socialists ,how bad must our government get before an uprising?

19. This man has a short memory. October 31, 2017 eight innocent people were killed, and 11 were seriously injured in a Truck Attack in New York City. Before that you also had the Boston Marathon Bombing, were multiple people were killed and Injured with home made bombs. Among the many other bomb plots there were foiled due to incompetence of the terrorist. The issue is much broader then just gun laws. Look at all the attacks in Europe where they did not use Guns (including Nice, France truck attack, where 86 people killed), and at least 5 attacks in the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, the list goes on and on. Countries that have very strict gun laws.

People used to believe that life was precious and it was evil to take a life if it was not in defense of one's own life and others. The only remedy is to have a moral renaissance and get back to what our forefathers believed, the BIBLE and JESUS. This is the cure for insanity. Boundaries and limitations are needed to teach that there are things that are morally acceptable and things that are not morally acceptable and these things need to be pressed in to the heads of our children.
