In 1984, President Ronald Reagan won re-election in a landslide victory. Steve Jobs introduced the first Macintosh computer. Prince’s “Purple Rain” album and movie were released. And a 20-year-old Kamala Harris was a Howard University undergrad making a name for herself.

“She was always the one who was very even keeled, not fazed, and not in that ‘I don’t care way’ — in a focused way,” said Jill Louis, one of her sorority sisters at Howard.

    SHARMOLA = word derived from (Sharol + Komol ) = beautiful, pretty, cute + simple, tender, easy and just.
    SARALA = name derrived from the Bengali Word "Sarol", meaning simple, easy and just person.
    GOPAL = referred derrived from Bengali word that means calm, quite and good boy.

    These names suppose to go in one set for a typical and good mannered Bengali home/family.

    You can find all these name in Rabindra Nath Tagores Bengali literatures and common Bengali Hindu family names all through out Calcutta and Bangladesh. Her descendents are Bengali and not Tamil. Her grandparents knew what they have named, because it refers to a typical family of certain tribe in Bengal. And they were a well educated family.

    These are all names from the typical, traditional and idealistic Bengali family. How come they seems are from Channi or Tamil?

    I am 100% sure that her roots are from Calcutta or Bangladesh. Her mother in the picture looks Bengali and had been wearing Sari same like Bengali mothers do. Tamil's does not dress up like that, Bengalies do.

    Bengali families love to eat mostly Daal, green leafy vegitables, Bora(vegetable cookies) Fish and Rice

  40. Why b.b.c call her African American or black woman, ?? Some American channel call her Asian American, I think b.b.c always having inferior complex with Indian. The fact is that Indian or Asian never be black they are wheatish or brown.
