I was told by my adoption agency that my mother was going to abort me in 1970 instead she had me and gave me up to an adoption agency. I lived in Foster Care till 1988 when I joined the Navy. I retired from the military in 2008, I never seen my mother ever but I was told she passed away in 2000. I am happily married with 3 grown college kids who are all married with children. I want to thank my original mother for not aborting me.

They believe sincerely that abortion is murder, and that the child is innocent, so of course they are going to be against it. Any notion of personal freedom will take a back seat to the idea of defending an innocent child from murder. Pro-choicers need to do a better job of addressing why an abortion is not the same thing as killing a child, and leave arguments about choice, freedom, and privacy aside if they are going to change anyone's mind.
And, I know, I know, the other side is just stupid and their minds are unchangeable. But, if you are a pro-choicer right now YOU SHOULD CARE about changing the other sides mind. Because the other side is winning. Roe will be overturned, and bans will be put in place, and it will have nothing to do with a desire to be tyrannical over women's bodies. It will have everything to do with a sincere belief that abortion=murder. If you actually want abortions protected at a national level, those minds have to be changed.

Abortion should be "MEDICALLY LEGAL" with Prohibitions… First, if the LIFE of the pregnant woman is 100% in danger testified and signed by 2 Physicians, one private and one public (government) physician… second, if the fetus (unborn child) has an abnormal growth, defects, or illness/cancer cells, etc… Lastly, Abortion should not be funded by the Government… but thru personal funds or private institutions or charitable institution funds…

I read about the negative economic and education effects that "forcing women (young girls)" to have unwanted babies will have on the future of this country and it is heartbreaking. So sad they are "forced" to get pregnant and not allowed to kill a baby in order to be rescued from their irresponsible "choices". I am pro-choice but the choice is made when you choose to get pregnant. This is not a religious debate, these are human beings being aborted (killed). Like it or not, women (real women) can get pregnant if certain acts are performed that introduce sperm to their eggs. This is nature, we know what causes it and as a society we have to deal with it. Eliminating (killing) the unwanted (babies, elderly, sick, handicapped, etc.) is not an option because sooner or later, you will be one of the unwanted. Wear a condom or other responsible approach to sex. IF you can't afford a condom, then you have much bigger issues going on in your life and you should be figuring those issues out rather than having sex.
