I don't think so…about a day of civil rights. The same Republicans put children in cages smashing them in like sardines. They refused to allow child care credits which helped raise millions of children out of hunger and poverty. Care about the children here first then we'll talk about the unborn. Civil rights? Roe v Wade provided a choice, it didn't mandate you get one, but now that it's repealed you no longer have that option and are obligated to do what catholic doctrine dictates.

Americans are totally ignorant about the history of religious freedom. It was not a product of the United States at all, they bastardized religious freedom to accommodate slavery.
The person who brought religious freedom to America also gave us freedom of speech, democracy, free human minds and soul-liberty, the last two were not wanted by the United States and they had to turn the first three inside out to accommodate slavery.
A liberal democracy is what an American colony had in 1663. Roger Williams established it in
the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. He brought freedom of speech, freedom of religion,
democracy, the free human mind and soul liberty here by argument alone.
He predicted that his opposition would, if left unchecked, replace civilization with slavery, slaughter the
Native Americans and turn America into the very place the pilgrims escaped. That happened upon his death.
Freedom of religion was returned to religious privilege, the slave trade and piracy became the bread and butter
of his attempt at civilization. When the United States was formed, they undid every single aspect of civilization
and called it by the same names used by Roger Williams. They gave credit to slave owners for forming a free society.
When they claimed to end slavery, all they did was shuffle the deck. They took away the rights of private individuals
to shackle and contain other humans and gave that and every other practice and procedure of slavery to the government
and the corporations who founded it. It all went into the melting pot and that has how we have been governed ever since.

There is no separation of church and state in the constitution. The first amendment just states that the Congress cannot make a designated religion, not that it can’t promote religion.

I love how pro-birthers only tell half the story. Roe v. Wade only allowed for absolute right to abortion in the FIRST trimester. Abortions in the final trimester were only permissible if the mother's life or health was at risk.
