25. I’d like to address a few points, hopefully this gets seen For those still hesitant to get to get the vaccine because people are getting infected who got vaccinated, this was expected. The vaccine isn’t perfect but it’s highly effective. It may not protect you against getting it completely but it will prevent you from having to be hospitalized. It also decreases the viral load such that chances of spreading it decrease. The higher amount of virus you come into contact with, the higher the chance of becoming badly sick. Secondly, the other reason for getting the vaccine even if you aren’t afraid of getting sick yourself is that as we’ve already seen with the delta variant, the virus will continue to mutate until we stop spreading the virus. Please put your politics aside and get vaccinated. Do it for your country.
