  3. Shaq is a great guy but I am sure he would agree that him acting like a normal person and helping people isn't "news", that is probably why he didn't comment on that incident

  7. He is a 4 times NBA Champion, did rap music, was an actor, made a lot of money with restaurantes/franchises/clothes, etc. And of top of that he's an incredible human being. I love this dude

  14. I read a story back in the early 2000's, that Shaq bought a Staples Center employee a $50,000 Mercedes. Shaq was friends with the guy and when they went down to the parking lot, he saw that his friend was driving an old car. So he took him to the Mercedes dealership and bought him a brand new car. I've always loved Shaq ever since I read that story.

Updates: I still have planned to make the mask we've needed made of clear TPR thermoplastic rubber (SEBS) compression molded. I plan to do this in my garage and have the know how and relevant skills to accomplish this task on my own. But I have a much bigger picture than simply making small amounts of masks all on my own. You see I want as many of my design of mask made and replicated in as short of time as possible to protect as many lives as possible. I believe that wearing a mask is a lot better than not wearing any mask during this pandemic when out in public however I believe that wearing the mask I envision would be significantly safer than most any mask probably as safe as a gas mask and won't pull your hair or be heavy or awkward and will not have a proprietary filter nor canister etc. Basically its the mask we've needed for a virus pandemic but nobody has yet created or manufactured.

    I only need donations to begin. As I said my vision is much greater than myself making mask and taking the opportunity to earn profits. I don't want to hire any employees and I don't want to take a capitalistic business approach to this cause. This cause is all about sharing everything I am doing since you will not need to send away to get a steel or aluminum mold EDM'd or CNC'd you will simply copy everything I do and tell you how to do it on youtube videos which I will produce during the process. If I receive funding via donations this is what I do as my full time job and getting it done as soon as I can. I will produce and release how to youtube videos telling people how they can have the exact same setup in their clean garage or warehouse etc. then sell them or provide them freely to their communities.

    Therefore this is great for people with some know-how not afraid to work on their car and replace parts on their own vehicle, do some craft work etc. It does require various skills and not everyone will be cut out to do this even with using 100% of the provided videos that I will provide to do it the same exact way as I do it however I think a lot of people will just know if its right for them and if they can afford to stay at home, and do what I do and make the best protecting mask that seals well to the face and can use whatever homeade filtering cutouts you want (I recommend coffee filters I think cutout into strips plus a fabric mask overtop as the first line of droplet defense) then what will happen is that people from all over the world not just USA can replicate all my videos and for likely under 2 thousand USD of total investment costs including a basic hydraulic press costing as low as 300 bux can do it and with higher numbers of people doing the same thing I'm doing the world will have that many more masks made in a shorter period of time and should be given to communities or have cities buy the masks and distribute them to protect lives.

    Because my mask (to be called DG Mods mask named after my business name started in 2010) should be significantly higher protection by design. It will feature appx. a 1cm flat flange like part of the rubber or flap if you will to seal best against the face rather than having just an edge on the face. It will be 100% rubber with exception to the headband stuff whatever materials they are. It will have 3 headbands with 6 pull points so the mask stays snugly in place. It will have extra room for nose and mouth and the 7 or 9 ports will be directed along the cheeks and one on chin so that your filtering papers will be away from the nose and mouth and will not touch your nose and mouth.

    Because of this design, they can be washed under water with dish soap or briefly rinsed in warm soapy water perhaps washed with a small sponge if you wish to disinfect the mask daily after each use and can be reused over and over again. Also your homeade filtering cutouts, I suggest coffee filters can be replaced daily for incredibly cheap. Wearers will simply cutout with scissors strips of coffee filters about 1.5 inch by 5 inches tall and cut out a bunch and then replace them daily in between the filter insert rubber piece and the mask itself so that you see them through the ports and they do 100% of the filtering. By design, it should ensure that 100% of inhale and exhale does go through the filters therefore it should protect much better

    from ever catching covid and offer greater security.

    My vision is people allowed to work and shop and walk around with my mask which offers greater protection if in fact it does offer greater protection over time and people using it and their testimonials on eBay where I will be selling it. Normally a mask like this would be very expensive for a molding company to produce for you. Just the mold would be incredibly expensive. However I have planned to make my own strong molds out of my own planned hard polymer modified formulation which will be shown in detail how to do it on youtube. I wanted to complete my prototype by now but this vision and project though I felt highly important and continue to feel highly important I still lack funding and need donations now.     My vision is also numbers of deaths going down as a result of wearing any mask however numbers of both deaths and infection cases going down because of DG Mods mask being worn by people every time they go out. Extinguishing this coronavirus fire if people see the value in my mask and replicate it in high enough numbers all over helping communities and high numbers of this mask is made then I really do believe it will help greatly to stop the spread and help get this thing under control in USA and world. I really do think we need this mask because other masks that are sealed well are awkward bulky or funny. Make no mistake protecting the lungs by wearing the best mask is THE MOST important thing with covid-19 to stay safe and stay alive. You do not want to catch covid. Other masks do not seal entirely and therefore I'm not confident they'll protect me sufficiently though I am confident they will offer more protection than none, (fabric masks) but my mask should I proceed I would be a lot more confident I'm protected. We must be disciplined and wear mask anytime when out and within 6 feet of people. Physiologically I think most of us have decided that our family and household we don't need to wear masks around them but whenever out and about and around people and crowds and public yes wear mask and it will help. Allow me to make this mask please and I really do believe people wearing DG Mods mask will be a lot safer.

  44. Met Shaq at his 24 hour fitness in Orlando.
    Super nice guy. I’m 6’2” 275 lbs of mostly muscle and he was at least a foot taller than me.
    My guess is he is closer to 7’4” than 7’1”.
