  1. Some of my favorites: The Defiant Ones, Buck and the Preacher, Uptown Saturday Night, Let's Do It Again, Raisin in the sun, Lilies of the field, In the heat of the night, and Guess who's coming to dinner.

  2. No one cares of Poitier words when this country allowed Prosser to me murdered with his words and direction of laws he made this country enforce for BLACKS and our families.

  3. A giant icon, legend and mythological creature of not just cinema but of the XXth century history. This is a big deal! It is as if Chaplin, Brando, Bogie, Clark Gable, John Wayne, Fred Astaire, Jean Harlow, Mae West, either Hepburn, Dietrich , Garbo, Garland or Marilyn Monroe had died.

  4. Peace, mercy and blessings of God. I am your sister, Umm Muhammad, from besieged Gaza. Hope someone can help me, even if it's a simple thing. I can get food for my children. I have 3 children. We cannot provide them with food and clothes. Please, people of merciful hearts, help me. The hadith of Ibn Umar that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “A Muslim is a brother, and a Muslim does not oppress him, and whoever needs his brother will not deliver him, God willing.” . “To meet his needs, and whoever relieves the Muslim from his distress, may God protect him from distress on the Day of Resurrection, and from the shield of the Muslim, God will cover him on the Day of Resurrection.”
Who wants to help the number on the cover photo😪

  5. My favorites: Raisin in the Sun, Lilies if the Field, Uptown Saturday Night and Let's do it again, when you get to Heaven, let the LORD know you will be Directing and Producing. Thank You.

  6. He had many outstanding performances, my favorite was the Bedford Incident, it made a strong impression on a young viewer. Our local public television station would show it, the film also starred Eric Portman who was one of the #2’s in The Prisoner also on channel 12.

  7. Sir Sidney Poitier, Bahamian Ambassador to Japan and UNESCO, Oscar-winning actor twice over, iconic body of work, 94 years of beloved humanity, one of the most widely respected public figures of the past half-century.

    Rest In Peace.

  8. Modest and Elegant ways ❤️
You brought so much to our world – you will be missed!
    Rest In Peace 🙏🏼✝️🕊
