5. If I was postmaster general, I’d enact a nationwide registry for folks who want to “opt out” of spam marketing junk mail. That should reduce mail by over 50% within a couple years which will help Americans, postal workers, and the environment.

9. My bills from the city utilities take way longer than almost everything else. I got my garbage/sewer bill 2 days after it was due – and 3 weeks after it was supposedly mailed. We so need our hub back in this town! AND my postwoman delivered medicine to me at 6:44 PM… she looked exhausted.

10. The USPS has been heading off course for 15 years DeJoy didn't do that. Since he was appointed by Trump he will never get credit but he has made some correct changes and the letter processing machines and other equipment he deactivated was the correct move we simply don't have the mail volume to justify them any more. Our delayed mail goes back to Patrick R. Donahoe and the consolidation of our processing plants.

48. It’s scary to think how much important mail would be delivered potentially late. Not just medication but important documents and the like. People could get evicted because their rent check wasn’t delivered on time and the list goes on.
