The laws may apply to everyone equally but people of color have learned from hundreds of years of experience that not all laws effect people of different ethnicity equally. You can walk in anywhere and buy a gun with nothing but money. And stand outside the fairgrounds at the gun show is just handover cash. Are you kidding me? You have no clue what you are talking about. I do absolutely have to have an I.D. when purchasing a firearm. Meaning, a drivers license, or a state I.D. In my state, we have Constitutional Carry, so I do not need a ''permit'' to carry, which should have been the case from the beginning. Special privileges??? I cannot walk in anywhere and buy a firearm with nothing but money, that is b.s. And the Second Amendment is a right, not a privilege, and yes, it is a necessity for 100 million plus people that choose to exercise that right. If you choose not to, that is fine as well. Before trying to debate firearm rights, or how to purchase one, do some research. I was an FFL for years, a licensed gunsmith, which there again, I had to have an I.D. to even get the FFL.
Now, you are right on 1 point, you can sometimes go to a gun show, and buy someones personal property. Guess what I have found…every time I bought a firearm, they either had my D.L. copied, or my FFL, or at the very least, wrote down my information on paper and a bill of sale. That is personal property, that does not fall under the same regulations as gun sales in gun shops, gun shows, or pawn shops. There is no loophole. Sales of personal property has been going on since this countries inception.
