I never rent out inflatables if winds are over 14mph because of situations like these. I’ll rather loose out on the $ then anybody getting hurt or worse. People can say “you need to secure them better or stakes weren’t deep enough” ect but in reality very secured units can still fly away it’s like a huge balloon once wind goes under the inflated bounce house and winds pick up BAD it’s going to bye bye 👋.
Isn’t it time we ban the rentals of these and only allow them to be in one place, tethered to the ground in some way? Or at the very least rent them with tie-downs? Then it’s the parents fault if this happens.
