  1. What did the pyromaniacs say when their kid told them he wanted to be a firefighter?

    gasp YOU'RE NOT ARSON ANYMORE

    lol XD

  2. … received death threats but unclear if it's associated with this event [huh] … what are you guys doing over there to be such a target?

  3. Demonetized. ABC, or any other channel can not make money by showing this. But I notice You Tube is allowing Some Major Media Outlets to run Ads but not smaller channels.

  4. Honestly, I found Kyoto Animation studio from a movie called, " A Silent Voice". It's about a story of a boy who bullied a deaf girl, later regretting it and falling into a dark depression. It's a story of how the young boy, now young man, met the girl again and how he forms a bond with her, and slowly redeems himself. It's worth the watch, so beautifully crafted and written. It hits home, especially for me.
I watched the movie when I was severely depressed and suicidal. I thought I was a terrible person and deserved to die because of it. Honestly, a silent voice impacted me so much, it made me realize that sometimes, even the worst people deserve redemption and happiness. Kyoto Animation brought me back into anime and their amazing creations changed my world. From "Violet Evergarden" to A Silent Voice, it remains my favorite animation studio from japan. It's absolutely tragic that people who brought such life to amazing stories died like this.

Thank you KyoAni, thank you so much. I hope all the people who passed find peace.

  5. Rest in Peace for the people who passed away THANK YOU for your work im sure everyone appreciates them you made some of my favorite anime including Clannad, Kanon, Free, Hyoka, Amagi Brillant Park, and A Silent Voice this are some of my favorite anime they made me cry, smile, and laugh thank you. Rest in Peace 🙌🙏

  6. First etika the only streamer i knew now the people who started my love for anime

  7. apparently, the reasons were posted on 4chan boards.
Some were based on the fact that the animation studio stole and plagiarised the work of the man, who set ablaze.
Anime is certainly a rough business, lots of animes are stolen in hopes to go big and make a big break.

  8. This is the studio that made Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. That show promoted friendship and teamwork, not hate. What kind of monster would do this!

  9. However did this I hope they go to hell Kyoto animation brought me up when I was down all they wanted to do was make people happy this is just so disgusting

  11. Who the fuck sends death threats and shit to an Animation studio like Kyoto Anim? What did they do to deserve this, they're one of the best and most progressive studios out there?

  12. Mental health issues exist in all countries. Though we may not want to face them in the Japanese culture, it's harder to find help for it than in any other culture in the world. This is a tragedy going deeper than the deaths of these beautiful people.
May it be a wake up call for the younger generation to bring about a change that's healthy for all including the survivors, responders, family & friends, who'll now be plagued with MH issues because of this event.

Make it easier & accepted to seek mental health counseling. Give teeth to laws that will hold people who are dangerous to themselves and others in Long term care facilities. People do have rights to be free, but sometimes they must give up their freedom if they are an endangerment to society. Being politically correct is not always the healthy option.
