She is definetely a hero but I think that the title is misleading. He was choking in water and for that the heimlich manoevre is not effective. The boy could also still talk and explaining to the teacher, means the airway is not blocked and no lack on oxigin. His eyes and skincolour also were not abnormal. He did already the only effective thing, coughing heavy.

These bottles are very dangerous. Companies need to revise how they build these things!

I've watched this video a few times and something seems off about it.I mean,I'm glad she saved his life,if she really did,but idk.I noticed the kid didn't drink the drink,until after he looks at the camera to make sure it was centered on him.Then when he starts to act like he's choking,the two black girls to his right,seemed to look right at the camera,then the little boy leaves the room and comes back? Who's holding that camera? How was it following the little boy the whole time?Idk,could just be me.Congrats to the teacher if everything is copesthetic.
god bless that quick thinking & acting teacher! i want to hug that student’s classmate who looks so scared right behind the choking student…so glad the boy was ok…this teacher needs to be recognized! (like invited to the WH recognized!) …also this school is recorded?! can the parents view their children during the day? …this is something i would love as a mom
Teachers definitely don't get paid enough to begin with. She saved his life and probably won't even get a raise or anything, just a pat on the back.
There is something strange about this. Who had the camera rolling right on him as he started choking. Seems to me that this was staged.
OMG….this made me cry. I can only imagine the fear he felt…and then the fear she had no time to acknowledge. So thankful she was able to help him. God Bless this teacher !!!
