1. How can this election bill be considered controversial? It is common sense – you want to vote, present your ID! Prove your identity – it is as simple as that!

3. The ONLY REASON TX HAS PASSED THIS LAW IS BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY WILL LOOSE IF ALL ELIGIBLE TX VOTERS VOTE.
   If Texas Republicans were confident they would win then there would BE NO NEED TO CHANGE ELECTIONS LAWS.
   How difficult is it to follow that logic.
   The new slogan for the REPUBLICAN PARTY is this,
   “IF YOU CAN’T WIN LEGALLY THEN CHEAT”.

35. So what'll be the next excuse when Dems keep winning elections? They accuse fraud then try and "fix" future elections by making it more difficult for people to vote. Texas tried a scummy plan last year by allowing only one voting center per county which was thankfully shot down. These guys know that the more people vote in an election, the worse their chances are of winning unless it's some Congressional race. No matter, the more they try and suppress the vote, the harder we'll fight to get legally registered voters out there to keep the republicants from winning the "big ticket" positions

39. Elections are done by the states, not the Federal government. Giving that power to the government will only create more fraud for whatever party who's in control at election time! An ID is absolutely necessary to verify who's really voting.
