I have to ask how good are the monitoring systems of the patients and the protocol when the monitor alarms go off?This is exactly why i am terrified of surgery because i am worried that if something goes array the doctor and nurses are not properly equipped or skilled enough to respond IN TIME.I have seen waaaaaaaaaaay too much incompetence within the medical systems.
    So 4 of these patients died and i am to assuem based on comments nobody had any clue what was happening to the patients.From my knowledge it was likely becuase the nurses respond but might take 5/10/15 minutes or longer for a doctor to arrive.Obviously they can call for code red but i have been there also and what can happen is not enough doctors "several emergencies"and yes Hospitals especially at night are VERY often under staffed.
