Commissions, investigations etc after a fact exist only because we just love them, we get a false sense that something is being done,they give the illusion of doing something, as opposed to really doing something; don't forget the money !!!. committees and commissions have astronomical sitting allowances and per diems are very lucrative. All of this is why everybody loves them at all levels.

Who was responsible for not securing the door during lockdown? There should be at least two employees who sign off verifying doors are secured, had this happened, the gunman may have never gained entry into the school

Certainly I did not hear that clearly. The families of victims were kicked out of hearings held in Uvalde? The reason being the witnesses (code word for law enforcement officers) felt intimidated by the family members being present? The level of cowardliness these officers have displayed is on the next level. A level I didn't even realize existed.
I admire Col Steve McCraw for being transparent of what happened at the massacre of the children in Uvalde TX.
