I don’t know if I agree in reparations to descendants of slaves. I mean I’m not going to say that this country wasn’t built of slave labor because it was and that is a fact! However, giving free money to these kids isn’t the way to go. I think the federal government should increase funding for education and healthcare if you really want to reparations.

Blacks have already be repaid. Most black students at Georgetown are there, not because of grades but because of their skin color. Many of them get very lucrative scholarships, also based solely on their skin color.
Treating one group differently than others based on skin color, is the very definition of racism.
No one is owed anything, you have to work hard to get anywhere in life. Should I get repaid for my ancestors that survived the holocaust? Or my slave scottish/irish ancestors brought to America? No. Why? Because the people today no longer believe in those traditions and shouldn't be responsible for it because they weren't even born during that time.
