California, the most expensive state in the nation, has the largest Afghani population. While homeless American citizens with no minor children are left on our city streets, 50K in California alone! Let non English speaking Afghani migrants find new homes in the 52 OIC Muslim countries! Why is our State Department requesting interpreters for these new arrivals? America needs immigrants. I hope ppl around the Afghans have the courage to tell them to Anglicize their names, like what happened with our family. Unfortunately America is still deeply tribal and with a name like Mustafa or Mohammed, the doors will not even open up. Study after study after study suggest an ethnic name will hinder your opportunities. Even multiple-generational red-blooded America-born people with ethnic names are disadvantaged. Ever see a corporate boss with names like De'LeWayne or LeMonique or Kwen Quay? It's Wayne, Monica and Ken. Ethnic pride doesn't pay the rent.

First of all why should US and Europe take Afghan refugees, they must send them to Islamic countries otherwise it would be big threat for Europe and rest of the non-islamaic countries. Islamic countries don't have the value of their own people or just they have some other serious intention behind this why they are not taking Afghan refugees even they can offer them PR to them .US and Europe should be more careful….

If anyone paid attention, you would see Trump planned it: signed Afghans to Talibans, tried to close our base in Germany, disconnected with Allies, closest to Afghanistan. Why did you think he did so? His plan was to abandon Afghans either back in Afghanistan or fly them to Russia his ally, Russia. You all should consider someone is watching out for all these Afghans. Biden got the White House and rescued all of you and had the Allies in EU to support this effort. Otherwise you will be in Afghans if Trump in office.
Only a matter of time until the newness and appreciation wears off. Then comes the demands; multiple prayer breaks at work, no-go zones, banned BBQ because pork smoke is offending, U.S. flags taken down, halal meat in every store/restaurant. No dog areas…and on and on.
