43. I am saddened by Mr Floyds death he didnt deserve it and it was murder , however I watched the video and have a different perspective.
    If I just look at the facts of the video here is what we can be sure of . A police officer incompetantly performed his job. He commited an assault on Mr Floyd, causing him terminal bodily harm. He failed to provide life saving procedures to Mr Floyd.
    There is no evidence of racism….none. We dont have any statements, or outward acts that point to racism. Could it be racism? Yes certainly. There is no evidence for it at this point. The only way you can assert with certainty that racism was the driver here is the following assumption..
    All white police officers are racists toward black people, therefore by inference , race is the motivator. Basically you used your prejudice about police , to assert the prejudice of the cop.
    Everyone is simply assuming white cop, black suspect, racist act. Maybe that's true we simply dont know .
    The Officer in question had separated from his wife the day before, and sense we are assuming and asserting let me throw one at you. I think this cop was distraught ( zero excuse for his actions) . I think he was in a position of power and anyone would of set him off.
    I am not naive enough to believe there is no racism. I suggest we need to consider the facts before we assume a motivation.
    One last thing, anyone black or white thinking these events are going to change America, are going to be disappointed. The next news cycle is just around the corner, and people in America have the attention span of a toddler
