On August 21, 2018 Burke County witness reports and Burke County Officer body cam video reveals Mr. Arbery was caught by a stay at home mom who saw him in her backyard looking into the windows of her cars.
She called police who found Mr. Arbery at his grandmother's residence. Police officers arrived to give Mr. Arbery a trespass warning about his conduct and behavior. When confronted by the officers about the eye-witness report, he lied and said he had "gone running in the street", and then became aggressive, confrontational, and repeatedly threatened that he would "whip the officer's ass" if they didn't leave him alone.

The prosecutors were on point. The lawyers on the other side wanted to create hatred by pointing out black church people were sitting in the courtroom not just preachers but black preachers. The lawyer seem to be perfect for the killers because they were racist and stupid.
I watched most of the trial but still evidently missed any evidence presented of what happened that day being based on the person's race. In addition, since the state prosecution was obviously trying to file every charge they could possibly think of against the three neighbors, they would have certainly included a "hate crime" charge to be among the charges if it were possible. Did I miss that part of the trial or was there simply no evidence of any racial motivation or "hate crime" in this case whatsoever? It's obvious that the neighbors did not just simply wake up that morning and decide to shoot someone, for that matter of any race, so I doubt that there is any evidence of a "hate crime" or that the shooting when the runner grabbed the neighbor's rifle pointed directly at him was based on his being one color or another.
Praise God! Finally some justice in this country! I am so angry when they keep bringing up citizens arrest FOR WHAT? Jogging black in their "white neighborhood"? He wasn't doing anything wrong! They were racist pricks that didn't want him in their neighborhood because he was black PERIOD!! Call it for what it is! Thank the good Lord above that this family got the justice they deserved!
