Take Mylan pharmaceuticals, who manufactures hydrochloroquine, the 1 drug that was supposed to literally save the world. In January, 1 share was worth $18.78. In mid-March when that drug was really promoted as a savior it was only worth $12.75. Around this time only a relative handful of people knew that this drug was promising and it was put on the fast track for approval and Mylan so generously donated millions of doses of this drug. It was also selling the drug making some profits which only trickledown to the little people but the big money is in the price of their stock. Now the stock prices are on the move and a few people, like the President, one of the first to know, are buying a huge amount of stock. Say 10000 shares for $127,500. That’s chump change for the wealthy and I’m sure they bought a lot more. Here is where Trump comes in with his crazy push for this one drug…suddenly science is saying this drug is not going to save the world and the price is rising and falling not really gaining momentum because Dr. Fauci just won’t shut up. Your not going to make the billions you thought. As of today it’s only at $16.41 and falling. The current price of Walmart is $130. That is the kind of potential of what each share of Mylan stock could be. That would make your 10,000 shares worth $1,300.000. Trump doesn’t have to own the company, he doesn’t have to personally buy stock, he just needs to whisper in someone like Don Jrs ear to get word to the people who handle his investments. It’s not hard to muddy those waters in a whole host of ways to cover your track. Why do you think Trump deregulated banks? You can’t rig the system and hide your investments as easily with the government looking over your shoulder. Imagine giving up a potential profit of $1,172,500. As of today you’ve only made a measly $36,600. Now add several more 00’s to the number of shares you can afford because you’re already obscenely wealthy and that makes a profit in the billions for a relative few. Most of that money isn’t even trickling down to the little people in America, you know, the essential ones, the majority is offshore avoiding taxes or they have politicians (also making millions) in their pocket telling Americans how unfair their tax rate is. There are all kinds of ways to manipulate the market to make money. Welcome to the world of the 1%. Now for the sad part of the story. Donald Trump does not care if millions of Americans die. He flat out does not care. Billions of people around the world are in total shock. Right now Trumps one true goal and purpose is to raise those stock prices even if he has to kill Americans doing it. Some people might even think that is the best part, consider him a great business man and the best leader our Country ever had. I mean really just look at the numbers of the right kind of people dying.
