The monuments represent military leaders that have condoned slavery where is the culture in that. Trump said it represented culture. It represents a lifestyle that was immoral for enslaving and keeping humans in bondage, the humans enslaved being black. When the Civil war ended the slaves were emancipated. So why were these Statues allowed to be erected. All things that represent slavery has to be eradicated. That was the purpose of the civil war to eradicate slavery and everything that represented it.
