I wonder how bad it has to get before the US actually does something. We made an agreement to protect them when they gave up nuclear weapons – these sanctions are probably not the help the Ukrainians imagined getting. The sanctions are just a way to say the US did something without actually doing anything. These sanctions don’t hurt the Russian leaders, they hurt the average Russians and Russian leaders do not care about the people. Also, I am sick of hearing about “possible war crimes”. Putin is attacking residential areas, hospitals, churches, and is killing military and civilian’s with no regard. It’s embarrassing that we have not helped militarily. No, it’s shameful.
