  1. Companies like the one that laid me off are not trying to bring back us back. I was a Manager with them for over 15 years and now they are hiring, but are hiring “Management Trainees” instead of bringing us back. They don’t want to pay the salaries they were paying us or give us the seniority we had. I wish our Government would over incentives to Companies like the one I worked for to bring us back. And these Companies I know are asking for and deserving so receiving help. But they should have to bring us back.
    Help us please.

Right after the pandemic close things down March 2020 my daughter got laid off her job 7 weeks she got the extra $600 a week with that and the unemployment she Drew more money not working after the 7 weeks her employer called all the employees back and she got scheduled 16 hours so she got partial unemployment and the extra amount she works at a Dental Arts lab.

  4. guys India, UK, USA and the whole world facing such things and American get s aids. Indians not even get that aid because of our useless uneducated politicians. I don't know but my mom always taunts me that I am at home but everyone knows there is no one who wants to give jobs and government jobs are getting difficult more and more to get because of huge exam competitiveness . what I do now? now even LinkedIn is useless and even every relatives taunting me

  5. All of you employers asking us "Why is there a gap on your resume?", you need to stop this okay. YOU KNOW WHY people haven't worked. And as much as I respect military veterans, why is every job either for former military personnel or people with more than ten years of experience in their field? If jobs aren't for either of those groups, then they're for interns/recent grads. There is never anything left for the rest of us, who don't fit into either of those demographics. Listen, people are living a lot longer. Employers can no longer assume that someone can't competiively perform at their jobs because they are in their 40s, 50s, or 60s looking for a job. Where are the jobs for people who want to enter a new field in their 40s, with limited work experience? Just because a woman has waited tables or worked in retail for a number of years at $12.00 an hour, doesn't mean that's what she should be limited to doing for the rest of her life. To Biden and Kamala, grown adults (not recent grads) need higher-paying jobs too! We need job training for today's chaninging labor markets. We need to have marketable skills. We need jobs that would allow us to learn on the job. How can a person ever become a specialist in anything, if companies aren't willing to invest some of their millions in revenue on attracting career changers and training up new workers for the positions they need to fill? Every job can't either be for recent grads or specialists. Millions of people who are in between are experiencing trouble entering the job market because of age discrimination and discrimination against people with limited work experience. And this has been going on in the labor market for many years, unchecked and unregulated, and it is not being addressed.

  6. The lady next door to me has not worked in more than a year. She has three kids, lives with her parents. Less than 4 minutes away there is 5 fast food places open 16 hours a day, 4 gas stations, three open 24 hours a day, one order warehouse has three shifts and one major plant nursery all have help wanted signs posted everyday. So lets do the math on what she, her family has recieved. Free meals for her 3 children two times a day at school= $1800. Food stamps, Free internet at home because the school system went to computers for the kids from books as a learning tool. I pay $55 a month, so they get it for free even though school is not open all year long. $660.00 and by the way the school system stopped letting the kids take the laptops home, but internet is still free for them. Now child tax credit, even though they live with her parents she recieved $6000 in child tax credit in 2020. Covid money $1800 for her in 2020 and $1800 for her kids. So now with unemployment payments with the covid-19 extra extended help over $26,000 in 2020. Now 2021 still drawing enemployment because of the Covid-19 extra giveaways aving to cut back because it went from a extra $600 a week , now going to $300 or $400 a week extra. Will get $5600 in stimulus check for her and her 3 kids, $9600 back in child tax credits for her three kids this year. So why is she not wasting her time looking for a job to feed her family, why would she need to with food stamps and free medical medicaid. Sure she is not dumb, she can do the math and know she will loose money by going to work 5 days a week for 12 to 15 dollars a hour.

    But small business can't provide full time hours due to economic lacking of consumer patronage.

  12. Can i say. In Australia we are having the same problems and i thunk its because during the lockdown a lot of people developed mental health issues, anxiety being the most common. Its more than possible people are just afraid and anxious to back to work in America too.

  15. Congress should be the first to go without their paychecks. Both Nancy Polosi and Mitch Connelle are both worth millions of dollars. These two should not be deciding on whether or not we get $600 or $2000. Greed is destroying this country.

  21. US politicians are deplorable. When working people pay federal taxes that money should be put aside in national reserve for a rainy day. Working US citizens should have been getting money without any questions asked. Just as Joseph had reserves in storehouses ancient Egypt in the bible. That money belongs to the public. This is why I said get ride of taxes and regulations. No Taxation without representation!

  29. Fast forward 3 month. $1.8 Trillion was offered by the Trump admin. Nancy refused. Now will settle for half that amount. Go figure what is going on.
