Jeanarry Hernandez, who is graduating at the top of her Alabama high school’s senior class, disagrees with the school’s decision to proceed with a commencement ceremony and will not attend.

  3. How awful to be so smart and stuck in such a dumb state. I hope she gets away asap before they cause her death.

  4. Good on you and congratulations. There will be a time to celebrate. If your parents attend your graduation, prepare to live with the thought that at least one parent of your classmates will pass away in 6-8 weeks.

  5. It doesn't matter to her, she already got her valedictorian scholarship at the school of her choice plus no cliché speech about life.
