This makes me think back to those who fought and the nurses and doctors and medics who treated and watched so many die during the vietnam war….and how it has left scars on their lives ever since……this pandemic has killed many many more and these healthcare workers have seen it all and have had to be the family, as much as possible to those who were and are alone…..suffering and dying alone, and to know that people still refuse to see the severity of the pandemic and refuse to make the simple sacrifices like wearing a mask, keeping at home as much as possible and when we do go out, doing activities and going places that keep us from crowds and furthering the spread ……..makes me so sad …..and angry that we have what used to be thought of as the best place in the world to live…but so many have forgotten how to be civil, how to put someone else's needs above our own and many times it is the very people who pride themselves on their christian values. We are living in a sad and uncertain world….country……but praying everyday that people will finally open their eyes and allow themselves to see the reality and think for themselves what they would want if it were they, who were severly ill with covid19, or one of their loved ones……We don't all have cases like our president had , or get the same immediate care that he had while his symptoms were mild…..I pray that our country can turn from our wicked ways, and God can forgive all the hate and hard hearts …..and can truly heal our land.
