But I don't think health insurance companies should be liable for the few hundred thousand dollar hospital bill that your going to leave behind for your family to pay for after you die if you are unvaccinated. I’m frontline infectious disease at a major hospital and it is so unbelievably discouraging to read these comments. I spent 23 years in school so I could help people and reading that you all think we’re a bunch of evil supervillains is just heartbreaking. There isn’t enough money in the world to make me or any of my colleagues hurt or trick or lie to a patient. If you aren’t going to lift a finger to protect yourselves, the least you could do is not go out of your way to beat us down and vilify us. Doctors are not bad people. Whoever told you COVID is not dangerous and the vaccines are, they actually ARE bad people.

I believe in the vaccines but you can't put what is coming at the feet of the unvaccinated, not for this variant. Omicron data is starting to show 2 doses of vaccine within 3 to 6 month, you have 30 percent protection. 2 doses with a booster will give you 75 percent. This variant is starting to show it is vaccine resilient and an omicron based booster will be needed but can't be ready til March 2022. It is not making as many sick, but is 70 times more contagious and all those who will get sick, the issue is, they will all get sick near the same time. Hospitals and staff can't handle even 5 percent of their local population needing medical attention at the same time.
I like how he says the vaccines are at "no cost" when tax money and insurance money are obviously funding the big pharma for a vaccine no one needs.
