Imho I think we should have left a long time ago, the only reason we were there is for a revenge war (and rightly so) but to stay there for so long what is it accomplishing?

The soldiers were all told "get off your bunks & grab your junk,it's time to pull out men!" In short, there was a lot of confusion those last few days. To make matters worse, once they landed on US soil they were thrown in the brig for indecent exposure.
Trump wanted to pull out of Afghanistan towards the end of his administration. But joe Biden finally did. Like at this point the Taliban took over half of the country. If you were roaming that land you weren’t in Afghan country, you were in Taliban county. At that point why not just fully take over? The whole world already knew and didn’t seem to care
