Wearing a mask in public is just common sense and good manners. I like the analogy if you don't light up a cigarette just cuz you want to. Once again the news media is hyping up is Coronavirus scaring the crap out of everybody but we're not talking about how many people have a mild reaction to covid-29.
I like the swedish model of dealing with this. I think it's like a Band-Aid that can be ripped off quickly or over the next five to ten years destroying the economy in the process.
The whole idea of just waiting for a vaccine that's right around the corner it's a bunch of BS. Anthony Falchi has promised us a AIDS vaccine for 35 years now. Plus the virus is mutating, so it's a moving Target. It's not going to happen.
Obviously we don't want to overwhelm hospitals and that can be done on a county-by-county basis as far as lockdown procedures.
If you are high risk and scared of dying then I highly encourage you to isolate and do all the extreme measures for avoiding Coronavirus. But the rest of us who want to live our lives, have freedom and take that chance as well as keep the economy going (which makes it possible for you to have utilities while sheltering in place) ought to allowed to do that.

To the states that opened up early as a nurse I will not be volunteering to help when people knowingly forgoed social distancing and wearing masks. I will not risk my health and that of my family's to help a bunch of idiots.
If the virus is spreading so fast, then why is the Govenor of Florida and Mayor of Orlando allowing is Disney World to re-opening? It is the perfect place to spread this virus. In my opinion they should keep Disney closed and make wearing a mask mandatory.
