  1. Zillow is attempting to control the real estate pricing, suppressing markets then making an offer to buy properties from the owners whose prices Zillow has suppressed. Unethical power addicts run this organization and border on acts of 'slander' by falsely publishing incorrect values of owners properties.

  2. Rex will win. It's sneaky and misleading. I never found by owner on there and I tried. It seemed odd why there was none but I never knew be why.

  3. I paid $280 to get a realtor license myself, way cheaper than paying those clowns to list my home. That little course saved me thousands of dollars, and I will continue to give my "Free" advice to my family and friends just to screw those licensed morons.

  4. Realtors only work and represent themselves, not the buyers nor sellers. Paying those clowns huge commissions is just a mistake. Do some research and you will be surprised to see how much you can save by selling by yourself. If buying, most lenders have knowledge about the process and they can help you.

  5. It's a SHAM! Get your own signs at Lowe's and place ad in paper. Save thousands! Pre-qualify buyers thru your chosen mortgage company. May not need atty., title company, yes. Sold 2 of my homes. Why pay a Realtor if you can swing it? I end up giving buyers more in closing costs if I'm not using an agent

  6. The real estate agent is working for the buyer and for himself or herself! The agent places both himself and the buyer before you the seller! But, they want you to pay them for telling the potential buyer to make a low offer!
That way you pay the agent for decreasing your profit! Doesn’t that seem a bit odd—paying a realtor to work against you. JWC

  7. I used a flat free RE broker to sell my place and they only charged 0.5 %. The buyer went directly to them. They handled all the paper work and advised in RE laws and disclosures. I did have to do some of the work myself, like meeting inspectors, etc. It was totally worth the savings.

  8. I work at a brokerage.
You’re supposed to have a realtors license in order to buy/list any home.

So I guess it’s legal to sell your own home? Without a license ??
    Someone lmk

  9. This is a bogus lawsuit. I do real estate research on a daily basis and it is very easy to find homes listed for sale by owner. Just click on "other." That's all you have to do to see them. There is no anti trust issue here because it is just as easy to find for sale by owner homes as it is to find agent listed homes. This matter is far too trivial to clog up the court system with. Plus, Zillow is in no way obligated to even list homes that are not offered by agents. Plus the only thing that any seller could actually sue for is what they lost and since Zillow is free for home sellers to list their own homes all they could sue for is $0.00.
