I’ve been looking for a C6 Z06 for the longest time, so when I won the bid on this later year, high trim car for a huge discount, I couldn’t have been more excited. That all changed when we went to pick it up…

  1. Either way, the clutch shouldn’t have broke whoever drove it 😂 or it was super unlucky and failed here. Which is also possible. Nobody is going to break the clutch driving it at idle

  2. Usually, these arbitrators have close ties to whomever pays them and gives them consistent business. That's probably the auction house and sellers in this case.

  3. Wow. This is genuinely disgusting to see. When I saw the heads being from an LS3, I was hoping the PO just did a head swap (extremely common).
But then that little 6.2L casting popped up……… That sucks man

  4. glad you didn’t have to go through legal channels but at the same time, I would love to see someone with the money and spite sue a corrupt company like this

  5. Dealer slipped the auction house a huge bonus under the table. Or, has some dirt on them, such as this situation, that they are covering for them. Probably has a bunch of dirt on them being a dealer and buying a lot of cars.
Dealers are the worst scum most of the time. Its hard to make money the legal way on cars. The only way to make big money is to scam people. They might move $200k in cars a month. But by the time they pay the help, commissions, rent, utilities ect, they might make $300/month or less.
Most dealers I know will not buy a car that needs any work period. If it does, its a hack job. At $200/hour, an hours worth of work eats up allnof their profits. And every car needs work 90% of the time.

  6. I hope any boomers would let me adopt a Vet baby some day there was so many beautiful Corvettes and exotic cars before those retarded. Tesla started driving around in California. The Tesla car has became too much of a fat in California. You’re so cliché considering it is a fat not a car, consumer or car guru or car enthusiast vehicle. I will always love to see 7, long front and style of the classic Corvette. Designs in the 70s are still unmatched from today’s vehicles that we see here today. I pray I could adopt one of these jewels before time slips away like it did for its original owner. I am a painter and always have been trying to get into doing wraps or painting cars. I know it’s a lot of work, but I know I’m capable if someone gave me a chance. I don’t know why it’s so hard to get any work in California. We’ve been sold out for cheaper labor than the next that’s coming for the corporations as AI. The Corvette meet ups in California have become more and more slim and scares those Tesla vehicles need to be wiped off the map so real design and innovation can step in and replace them all.

  7. I'll be honest, I do not really feel bad for you. You are part of the problem for not exposing the dealership and auction that did this to you. You basically had the experience of an average person buying an auction car who may face this problem. Except an average buyer does not have a 1.5 million follower base to expose to scumbags and make things right.

    edit: typos

  8. What a shame. that you were handled like that, but thx for the warning, and we will definately take our precautions Priority Tire.
in the future just dont use them, Sam.. its important to get the info out there.. so thx
just saw their social media and they are silent, but it seems the warning is trending, nobody should ever use them with tires like that..
