  5. Two years later and I haven't been able to find out the results. Dr, Richard Bedlack from Duke University has 48 documented cases of ASL reversal. Honestly, I think that gene editing (CRISPR) is the only answer; but they just keep dragging their feet w/ human trials. Is is a sure bet? No. Is it risky? Probably. What is the alternative? ALS is fatal–statistically 100% of the time, and it is a horrible, horrible death. I believe that almost to a person, people with ALS would be willing to take that risk for a cure.

  12. So boiling eggs and using the water from the boil to wash your hands with it as a form of skin therapy helps. Not sure if this is the treatment. Please don't use any Pharma drugs, this is only going to worsen the situation.

  16. I was diagnosed with ALS/MND last year in May 2018. our doctor put me on riluzole, letting me know there was no cure but the medication might provide me a few more months of delayed symptoms.
