Body of missing American scientist found on Greek island



An American scientist who disappeared on the island of Crete was found dead on Tuesday, authorities said. Suzanne Eaton, a 59-year-old molecular biologist at the Max Planck Institute in Germany, was last seen July 2.

This has broken my heart,for her and her family,and the tragedy of losing such an accomplished scientist as well.I grew up on Crete and never so much as heard of a purse snatching…always some monster has to destroy all good things.I hope my Greek friends find the fiend and hand him from the highest olive tree with grapevines.

  5. Women – You should protect yourself and always be on your guard, especially when you're alone. The world is dangerous. Maybe if she had a knife or tear gas she would survived.
