  3. I expect others to understand that if you have never experienced a storm or tornado in your life make sure that curiosity does NOT keep you from evacuating. Puertoricans did NOT have that option if they had no financial resources to purchase the right materials to protect their property or fly out of the island. East coast of USA had that choice and some of them paid the ultimate price choosing not to leave. NOW, let us get altogether and help out and assist the ones who need it the most, the elderly and the ones with disabilities. I hope no one thinks of me as a bad person, but the facts are there. If you don't have a chainsaw, get a machete and start chopping small branches and pushing debris out of the way for rescue vehicles to drive thru and access the victims…THANK YOU!!!!!

  7. ok she just made a ridiculous and ignorant comment….about people on life support will die if the power goes out! Hospitals with critical care units Intensive care units etc… ALL have built in GENERATORS!! those are generators that automatically cut on when the power goes out.. Can you imagine ….oh no the power goes out in a thunderstorm, we just lost all our patients on life support!!..

I see some rain… maybe a little wind lolol these towns that are flooding are towns with poor water bypasses and terrible drainage I live 20 mins from new bern and the rain is just flowing and the ditches are passing to new bern where the government voted down the maintenance of their waterways

  21. All this concern for the power going out yet the majority of the power lines are above ground . Maybe if we would have a massive infrastructure upgrade and place our power lines underground we could lessen the impact of such natural disasters ? Just a thought .

  34. … a Category 1… not that dangerous! Thk God! … thing is, a slow pace of constant wind would be real dangerous… At least it wasn't C4 or 5…these are demolishing monsters… like the hurricane Maria over the island of Puerto Rico… THAT was terrible!

  46. So much for that category 5 hurricane that they were saying was going to happen when it got to land. The news stations are always blowing it out of proportion just for viewers
