Like it’s not just him putting out the word of missing kids. It putting out the word to kids on what to do to stay alive in that situation as well. The bus stocking is a great example.

12. Imagine losing your six year old son in a horribly violent way and then becoming a real life superhero for over a thousand children. Adam would be extremely proud of you, John. I was the same age as Adam. And I was almost a victim of kidnapping, when I was 5, but I got away. So Adam would be 46 today and I know he would be super proud of his dad.

25. Serious problems the day Adam was abducted: poorly trained security guard and police who did not grasp the seriousness of 6 year old Adam's disappearance. Out of the heartbreaking murder of his young son, John Walsh and his wife Reve, established the Adam Walsh Child Resource Center and co-founded The National center for Missing and Exploited Children. Hard to believe that in 1981, there was a database for stolen cars, stolen guns, and stolen jewelry, but none for missing children, and police did not share information between agencies. Why does it take a tragedy such as this for law enforcement to get their priorities straight?

28. As a class project we wrote to several book authors to see if they could donate books for our school. We wrote to Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Oprah, etc. and of course John Walsh… The only kind person that donated a book was John Walsh… He even sent the book autographed and with the book there was a personal letter with his picture telling us to stay safe and stay out of trouble

When I was born in 1987 John Walsh son would have been 12 years old 😢💔… I was an victim of childhood physical and sexual abuse and almost murdered, surviving gave me courage to continue fighting through life. John Walsh is the reason I have so much passion for Missing Children and True Crime Documentaries. I always wanted to partner with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and America’s Most Wanted. I want to someday start an television show similar to AMW and one day I will but right now I’ll just use my YouTube channel to do so…
