  1. The shootings in El Paso and Dayton demonstrates the horseshoe theory to some degree. Both political extremes have some similarities in that they both often end up in body counts or violence. The Dayton shooter was a self proclaimed radical leftist who voiced an antifa ideology( if you can really call the perspectives of Antifa as being ideologies), yet many people in Dayton ignore that and protest against Trump using antifa chants. It makes perfect sense to protest Trump in El Paso being that the shooter was very xenophobic and agreed with a strong border policy but even in his case he was all over the place with his other political perspectives.

I also don't understand the idea that eliminating assault weapons is the solution when assault weapons account for less than 1 % of all firearm related homicides in America. There are more people killed every single day with handguns then in both the deaths in the El Paso and Dayton shootings and that happens 365 days per year so instead we emphasize the less than 1 % and ignore that handguns are associated with over 85 % of all firearm related homicides.

  2. Being a survivor of this tragic event, and not a victim, I must say… Guns keep us safe. If I can't have one to protect my family a criminal still will. Is there things we can do legislatively to make things better yes. But let's make this less polarizing and political and preserve our rights in the process

  3. THE DEAD ARE NOT COLD AND YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT FEDERAL LAW? YOU ARE JUST A MAYOR, TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN, AND DENOUNCE ANTIFA

  4. So they totally dis the President and talk about his 'divisive rhetoric'. Then when he calls them out, she goes on CNN and lies about what they said in this news conference. DEMS lie and perpetuate divisiveness in our Country, and blame the President for it!

  5. My god CNN you just lied about 5 hours ago about this press conference! I just watched CNN asking why would Trump attack these two after this Press Conf. because they didn't attack the President. That is all Sherrod Brown did. He pretty much called Trump a racist. Come on CNN!!!

  6. Shooters where CIA MK ULTRA Manchurian candidates! This was a planned false flag operation! Sandy hook hoax over and over again! Remember 9-11 was a false flag so there are people in government that are wanting to destroy America.

  7. Mental Illness. But, Yeah, theres a mass shooting every weekend in Chicago. We don't hear about that though, of course.

  8. "PRESIDENT TRUMP WENT TO PAY RESPECT AND COMFORT TO THE VICTIMS" THE F-A-K-E NEWS AND THE POLITICIAN'S CONTINUE TO MAKE THIS POLITICAL…….THE PRESIDENT APPRECIATED THE RESPECT OTHERS DISPLAYED DURING HIS VISIT, UNLIKE THE FAKE NEWS TREATS HIM! THAT'S ALL HE'S SAYING!!!! THE MAYOR PUSHING FOR STRONGER GUN CONTROL PICK THE WRONG FORUM BY MAKING THE VICTIMS PART OF THEIR POLITICAL ATTACKS ON THE PRESIDENT! "ONLY PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM "TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME" WOULD SAY DIFFERENT! IT WAS WRONG FOR THE GOVERNOR AND MAYOR TO PICK THE THIS FORUM TO BRING THIS POLITICAL ISSUE TO LIGHT, CONGRESS NEEDS TO ACT FIRST THEY ARE THE LAWMAKERS, NOT THE PRESIDENT! THE DEMOCRAPS ARE MAKING THIS POLITICAL NOT THE PRESIDENT!!!!!

  9. These two don't speak for everyone. Alot of us actually have respect for the president. I'm embarrassed to be represented by these people. Disgraceful. Not cool to be two-faced.

  10. Mayor it's the school system and the culture that is the real problem with the Radical media.  The President is not at fault.  You are there.  You have your schools so why don't you do something about it.  Most of these mass killers are liberal hacks.  Change the laws to give them real punishment instead of apartments called prisons with tv cable.

  11. A stunning and disgusting display of turning a tragedy into a political issue. Brown and Whaley should be run out of town for their blatant politicizing of a mass shooting.

  12. Did anyonre see any blood coming from the victims.. i have watched quite a few reports on this with the false crisis actors, and no mention of blood… funny that.

  13. A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Semi-automatic rifles for the people are necessary to the security of a free state! Banning them would be a direct infringement!

  14. These mass shootings are a convenience distraction from Jeffrey Epstein case where some of the 1% are implicated. The media is helping to cover it up.

  15. Nan and Sherrod are both very amazing people and leaders! I love both of you ^^^ <3 Sherrod is my senator I've always loved him!
Nan has done great this year with 3 traumatic events in Dayton. She amazing too. I don't live in Dayton, but im close and partied there plenty! Friends in school up there too^

  16. Right, red flag law would not have made a difference here. Love how they blame the Republicans for the mass shootings. Typical Bureaucrat, more laws will make all of us feel safer. Go ahead folks, resign all your rights to the government. See how much you will love your country then.

  17. She seems to talk out of both sides of her mouth. She was critical of the President, then acts all surprised was the President called her out on it.

  18. What happens if we take away guns? I am sure other more catastrophic things likes bombs and such will become the likely weapon of those who wish to do harm. Sure it’s easier to get access to a gun but a bomb is harder to find/detect, and causes more fatal damage and other damage. Think about that before you take away my right to bare arms. I have every right to protect myself and my children.

  19. Take assault weapons of the streets? Then take assault weapons away from all government agencies, including police and the military. We don’t trust that the government won’t use them on us, at some point.
