I've done kaau crater many times and you have to be safe not to go to the edge. Thank God she is alive. Kaau crater is still my favorite hike because you are in the forest and beautiful trees and nature. Climbing up 3 waterfalls and hiking up an amazing steep ridgeline adrenaline rush and beautiful views
She just got taught a life lesson in that moment…………… have common sense.
