Malls opening early so kids with autism can visit Santa in calmer environment



During the busy holiday shopping season, malls can get crowded and loud – and to some kids, that can be overwhelming. So, two organizations are teaming up to make visiting Santa at the mall a more pleasant experience.

  1. I would love to have my son meet him but he is usually only here for one day at the main mall. Ugh.. we always miss him. My son is 7 now and is ready to meet Santa 🎅🏼

  2. OMG. lets just baby everyone with so called mental disorders. Open up early for my disabled mother cause she can not stand being around RUDE PUSHY ppl. And I hate crowds..

  3. I'm very grateful for this and I think churches need to become Autism friendly too. But as we make accommodations for the rising number of autistic children, we need to ask ourselves what is going on in society to cause this epidemic in our young people. We cant just accept it as the new norm because it makes us uncomfortable to talk about. That isn't fair to future generations.
