Best phone is V40… Pixel is ugly with its chin… Samesong is a brick with same screen size as V40 yet way bigger wtf samesong.

The back is ugly it will hold fingerprints. A fine brushed metal back is more premium, appealing, and sturdy.

I've got a V30+ and I'm pretty happy with it. If the V40 has a notch then I will likely skip this generation and wait for a V50, hoping that they'll be over that by then. That said, if the area either side of the notch is used only for notification and status icons then I might just live with it. I just don't want a chunk cut out of a video or app. I know that people say that you get used to it over time but I just don't really want to.

If the phone does inded have a notch don't buy it!!! Send a clear message to LG, they have to stop copying Apple. Man they use to be so unique, example G5! That thing was so cool, if they keep doing the notch I'm switching to Samsung.

I swapped Samsung for Lg when the G6 came out, as it's a great phone, but if Lg keeps insisting on that stupid notch, I'll definitely won't consider lg when I decide to get a new phone… The stupid notch is so ugly in any phone

Lg needs to do what they did in the past… Make phones with new features that other phones don't have. Their phones are too boring. Like when they came out with the LG Curve with the self healing back.

Anyone else love the IR Blaster in the V20? My friends are always shocked when i use it and i don't see why its not standard in every phone. If the V40 has no IR blaster AND no removable battery i am sticking with the V20
They need a better front facing camera. I know it's not as important but when you do have to take a selfie or doing video calling, it is needed.

why does everyone rag on the v30's display? i have the v30 and the display is literally perfect. maybe i just got lucky
Currently have the v30 and probably getting the V40 when it comes out. Love my v30. Still as snappy as day 1 unlike my iPhone and Galaxy devices.
Removeable battery and an IR Blaster and I will upgrade.
